The gold price in Hong Kong went down 15 HK dollars to open at 9,590 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday.

The price is equivalent to 1,039.79 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 1.62 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.742 HK dollars.
