Oil spill from vessel threatens Mumbai coastline

The leak occurred in the merchant ship MV Rak which sank near the Mumbai (Bombay) coast last Thursday. Indian coast guard officials walk on the Juhu beach contaminated by oil leaking from a merchant ship that sank off the Arabian Sea coast four days ago in Mumbai, India, Monday, Aug. 8, 2011.
