Ethnic Unity

Ethnic unity is the bedrock of China's ethnic policies. It is reflected in harmonious, friendly interactions between different ethnic groups, whose members learn from and help each other in a spirit of mutual respect, trust and understanding. It is built upon the notion that all ethnic groups in China, including the Han and minority groups, are interdependent: they breathe the same air, share the same future, aspire to the same goals, and work together for common prosperity.

民族團結

民族團結是我國民族政策體系的重要組成部分，指不同民族在社會生活和交往聯系中和睦、友好、互助、聯合的關系，各民族互相信任，互相尊重，互相學習，互相幫助，互相諒解。民族團結包含“三個離不開”：漢族離不開少數民族，少數民族離不開漢族，少數民族之間互相離不開；各民族同呼吸、共命運、心連心，實現共同的繁榮與發展。
